Delete your Karmgyan account
You can delete your account yourself, here or in the app. This page says exactly what goes and what the law makes us keep.
Deleted straight away
- Your name, email, phone and photo
- Your birth details and saved astrology work: Karma Chakra, predictions, Ask AI birth profiles
- Your Ask AI and prediction chats
- Addresses, cart and wishlist
- Reviews and ratings you wrote
- Support tickets and their messages
- Chat from your consultations, and notes you added to bookings
- Your consent choices and notification settings
- Saved charts and birth details kept in this browser
- Your sign-in: it is switched off, so nobody can sign in to this account again
Kept for 8 years, then deleted
- Orders and their GST invoices, with the name and billing address the invoice was made out to
- Payments, refunds and our accounting ledger
- What you bought and spent in credits: Ask AI, predictions, the numerology wallet and passes, Karmgyan credits, the Janma Grantha
- Consultation bookings (date, astrologer, amount), without your notes
Indian tax law (GST and the Companies Act) requires us to keep financial records for 8 years. We keep only what those records need — your email, phone and delivery address are taken out of them — and we use them for nothing else. After that they are deleted too.
Deletion happens as soon as you confirm, and always within 30 days of your request. It cannot be undone: if you come back later, you start with a new account.
Delete your account
In the Karmgyan app
Open Profile, then Privacy & data, then Delete account. It does exactly what this page does.
Can't sign in?
Email privacy@karmgyan.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will do it within 30 days.
