Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ('Terms') are a legally binding agreement between you ('User', 'you') and Karmgyan Technologies Private Limited ('Karmgyan', 'we', 'us'). By accessing karmgyan.com or any associated mobile app (collectively, the 'Platform'), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India and form an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder. They do not require a physical signature.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Karmgyan.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Indian law.
• If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when registering.
• You are liable for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3. Nature of Services

Karmgyan offers digital astrology services including kundli generation, panchang, muhurta, compatibility analysis, dasha computation, numerology, and consultations with empanelled astrologers and tarot readers.

Astrology, numerology, tarot and similar disciplines are interpretive and traditional in nature. Karmgyan provides these services for guidance and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, psychological or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make.

4. Consultations

When you book a consultation, you enter into a separate agreement with the astrologer for the duration of that session. Karmgyan facilitates the connection but is not a party to the personal advice given.

• Consultation fees are set by the astrologer or by Karmgyan, displayed in INR before booking.
• Sessions are time-bound. Late arrival reduces effective session time and is non-refundable for that lost portion.
• Recordings, screenshots or redistribution of consultation content without written consent of both parties is prohibited.

5. Digital Reports & Subscriptions

• Reports (kundli, matching, varshaphal, etc.) are generated by computational algorithms based on the inputs you provide. Garbage in, garbage out — accuracy of inputs is your responsibility.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rated refunds for unused subscription time.

6. Payments

• All charges are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
• Payments are processed by RBI-licensed payment service providers. We do not store full card numbers.
• Applicable GST is added on top of displayed prices and shown separately on invoices.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes, harassment, hate speech, fraud or impersonation.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract Karmgyan's algorithms or report templates for redistribution.
• Misuse another person's birth data without verifiable consent.
• Disrupt the Platform via automated tools, denial-of-service attempts, or malicious code.
• Resell or rebrand Karmgyan reports or consultations without a written commercial agreement.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — software, computational logic, written articles, design system, brand marks — is owned by Karmgyan Technologies Private Limited or its licensors. Limited personal-use rights are granted to you; commercial reproduction requires written permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karmgyan disclaims all warranties — express, implied or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Karmgyan's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount you paid to Karmgyan in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Astrological predictions are interpretations of classical methods. They are not guarantees. Karmgyan and its astrologers are not liable for outcomes of decisions you make based on these interpretations.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms or unlawful conduct. You may close your account at any time from your account settings; deletion of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.
